Dear Authors, Illustrators, Literary Organizations & Publishers, You are invited to participate in the 5th Annual Deep Valley Book Festival to be held on November 8th, 2008. Last year's Deep Valley Book Festival was a great success and we are planning a bigger and better festival for 2008. The purpose of this event is simple - to promote Minnesota authors and books. What better place to hold a book festival, but in author Maud Hart Lovelace's hometown of "Deep Valley," Mankato, Minnesota. The Deep Valley Book Festival is co-sponsored by the Betsy-Tacy Society and Minnesota Heritage Publishing. Event Details: The exhibit hall events are free to the public and are open to all ages. · More than 50 exhibit booths of authors, illustrators and publishers. · Wide variety of special programs and panel discussions featured all day. · Networking opportunities for festival participants. · Special Event: to be announced. · All program participants are featured on our website and in our printed festival program. Simply print out a registration application form and send it to us. Space is limited and will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. The Deep Valley Book Festival is an incredible service to our community. Through literature we can affect the education and interests of people from all over the state.
