Christine Bauer

Christine (Chris) Bauer is a writer and communication professional living in Minneapolis. Those Three Words: A birth mother’s story of choice, chance & motherhood is her first book and a labor of love that took decades to complete. Chris is a frequent speaker at conferences, schools, and book clubs about adoption, motherhood, writing, and more, and is happy to share her story and talk with groups of all sizes. First and foremost, Chris is a proud mom and grandma of both humans and canines. (She admits there were times in her motherhood journey when she preferred the canines.) When she’s not at her keyboard, Chris enjoys yoga, biking, walking, reading, and caring for her elderly dog, Simba. She’s eagerly awaiting the day she can begin traveling again.
