Michael Stanley

South Africans Stanley Trollip and Michael Sears write as Michael Stanley. They will publish the eighth mystery in the Detective Kubu series set in Botswana at Bouchercon in September. Their books have been finalists for an Edgar, an International Thriller Writers award, and two Minnesota Book awards. They have also written a thriller about rhino poaching titled Shoot the Bastards, featuring Minnesota investigative reporter Crystal Nguyen. Stanley has lived in Minneapolis since 1983.
