Laura Stearns

Laura Stearns is an accomplished actor, writer, community activist, consultant, conversation facilitator, and Victim Support Advocate.

As a survivor of sexual abuse, she uses her diverse skills set as an entertainer to bring lightness and accessibility to the challenging subject of sexual violence.

Her next book, "Daring to Heal: Growing Beyond Trauma Through Awareness, Acceptance, and Action", focuses on the universal effects of trauma as a natural response to traumatic events, and how we can transform our core belief system to shift society away from rape culture and towards a culture of accountability and consent. It will be available in spring 2023.
